Why choose our AMD Ryzen 9 VPS
Most providers sell an "AMD Ryzen VPS" without telling you which chip you land on. We do the opposite. Every plan in this Ryzen hosting range runs on the same AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, on our own Frankfurt network (AS211138). What you read in the benchmark below is what your VPS Ryzen 9 actually runs on. That is ryzenhosting done properly: one known CPU, published numbers, no surprises.
The same 7950X3D, every plan
From the 1 GB plan to 32 GB you are on the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D. No silent downgrade to an older Epyc or Xeon on the cheaper tiers.
96 MB of 3D V-Cache
Stacked L3 cache keeps hot data next to the cores. Cache-bound work like game ticks, order matching and database lookups sees the biggest jump.
Always-on anti-DDoS included

View Geekbench reportAMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D: cache where it counts
The Ryzen 9 7950X3D is not a standard datacenter chip. It pairs 16 Zen 4 cores and 32 threads with AMD's 3D V-Cache, a second layer of L3 stacked vertically on top of one core complex. That brings 128 MB of L3 across the package, 96 MB of it on the V-Cache die, against the 32 to 38 MB you get on a typical server CPU.
Most real workloads stall waiting on memory, not on raw clock speed. When the working set fits in cache, the cores stop waiting and throughput climbs. On a VPS Ryzen 9 that shows up as lower tick times on Minecraft and Rust, faster query plans on MySQL and PostgreSQL, quicker Redis lookups, and shorter backtests for trading strategies. Small-model ML inference and CI pipelines that thrash cache benefit too.
The chip boosts to 5.7 GHz, is built on a TSMC 5 nm process, and carries AES-NI for hardware crypto plus AVX-512 for vector math. You are not guessing at the hardware: the live YABS run above came from a real VPS-HP-4GB-NVMe instance, with the Geekbench 6 report linked. AMD's X3D parts have led independent gaming and cache-latency tests since launch, and that is the same silicon family your Ryzen 9 VPS runs on.

Free DDoS protection on every Ryzen VPS
Every Ryzen 9 VPS includes always-on Layer 3, Layer 4 and Layer 7 DDoS mitigation at no extra cost. Filtering runs at the Frankfurt edge and is backed by the network's total 3.2 Tbps mitigation capacity. This is shared network capacity, not capacity dedicated to each VPS.
Mitigation is always on, but no uninterrupted application session or fixed latency during an attack is promised. Customers remain responsible for operating-system firewalls, patching, credentials and application hardening. Protection is included on every listed plan.
Filtered at three layers
Network layer
Volumetric floods like UDP and ICMP that try to saturate your link are absorbed and dropped upstream, before they reach Frankfurt.
Transport layer
SYN, ACK and other TCP and UDP connection floods are filtered before they exhaust the state table on your VPS.
Application layer
HTTP and HTTPS request floods aimed at your site or game server are inspected and filtered, with no paid add-on.
Always-on filtering capacity
When a Ryzen 9 VPS makes sense
Workloads where the 3D V-Cache and the Ryzen 9 cores make a measurable difference, and where to go next.
Game servers
Minecraft, Rust, ARK, FiveM and CS2 lean on single-thread speed and cache. The 7950X3D keeps tick times low and chunk loading fast on NVMe Gen4, even with high player counts.
Minecraft hosting →Forex and trading
Deploy a self-managed Windows environment in Frankfurt for customer-installed trading software. Test your own broker endpoint before ordering; route quality and application performance are not guaranteed.
Forex VPS hosting →Databases and cache
MySQL, PostgreSQL and Redis spend their lives waiting on memory. A working set that fits in 96 MB of L3 returns query plans and lookups noticeably faster than on a cache-starved server CPU.
Cheap DDoS protected VPS
On a budget and do not need the X3D cache? Our general-purpose KVM plans run on Ryzen 9 3900 and include mitigation backed by the shared network's total 3.2 Tbps capacity, from €3.49 a month annually.
General-purpose VPS →RAM-heavy workloads
Need memory more than cores? The RAM-optimized line sits on the same Ryzen 9 platform with extra DDR5 capacity, built for large in-memory caches, big game worlds and analytics.
RAM-optimized VPS →Outgrown a VPS
When you need the whole machine with no neighbours, move up to a dedicated server in Frankfurt. Same network, same anti-DDoS, full hardware from €70.87 a month.
Dedicated servers →Ryzen 9 VPS vs dedicated server vs general-purpose VPS
Not sure which one you need? A Ryzen 9 VPS provides shared high-priority vCPU on the 7950X3D platform. A general-purpose VPS costs the same to start but trades the X3D cache and DDR5 for more RAM per euro. A dedicated server assigns the whole physical machine to one customer when exclusive CPU capacity is required.

Why is the Ryzen 9 7950X3D good for VPS hosting?
The 7950X3D ships with 96 MB of 3D V-Cache stacked on the CCD, which keeps hot working sets close to the cores and reduces memory latency. On a VPS Ryzen 9 plan, that means faster compile times, lower tick times on game servers, and reduced execution latency on trading and database workloads. The actual Geekbench 6 numbers on a 2 vCPU slice are listed in the benchmark section above.
Is a VPS Ryzen 9 suitable for game servers?
Yes. Minecraft, Rust, ARK, FiveM, CS2 and similar single-thread-heavy game servers benefit directly from the 7950X3D high single-thread performance and the large L3 cache. NVMe Gen4 storage keeps chunk loading and tick processing fast even with high player counts.
What is a VPS?
A VPS is a virtual machine running on a physical server. These plans use shared vCPU scheduled at high priority, while RAM and storage are allocated to the VM. It provides administrative access without requiring a full dedicated server.
Can I set my own RDNS record?
Yes. PTR and RDNS records are editable from the control panel. Set them correctly if you plan to send email, otherwise your messages will land in spam.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Larger plans are available. Confirm the upgrade procedure, IP continuity and any required downtime with support before changing the VM.
Can I use a custom ISO?
Yes. Upload an ISO up to 7 GB from the panel and boot from it. Useful for custom Linux builds, BSD variants, or a Windows version we do not template by default.
Does my VPS include backups?
Yes. Manual snapshots are free on every plan. Click backup before a risky change, click restore if something breaks.
Is port 25 open? Are SMTP ports blocked on your VPS?
No, port 25 and port 587 are open on every VPS. To keep network reputation clean we cap each IPv4 at 100 emails per hour. Need more? Open a ticket.
Can I request a custom configuration?
Yes. Tell us what you need in a support ticket: more RAM, extra IPs, a non-standard CPU layout. We will quote a custom build.
How does a Ryzen 9 VPS compare to a dedicated server?
A Ryzen 9 VPS uses shared high-priority vCPU on the 7950X3D platform. A dedicated server gives one customer the whole physical machine. Choose the VPS for a virtualised plan or a dedicated server when exclusive CPU capacity is required. The comparison table above lays out the trade-offs.
Do you offer a Ryzen 9 9950X or 9900X3D VPS?
Right now every plan runs on the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, the X3D part with the largest real-world track record. We are evaluating newer Ryzen 9 chips for future deployment. Ask on Discord or open a ticket and we will tell you where things stand.
What is the difference between this Ryzen VPS and your general-purpose VPS?
Both include mitigation backed by the shared network's total 3.2 Tbps capacity. This Ryzen 9 VPS uses the 7950X3D with 96 MB of 3D V-Cache, DDR5 ECC and NVMe Gen4, tuned for cache-bound work. The general-purpose VPS runs on unpinned CPU (Best effort) with DDR4 and NVMe SSD, and gives you more RAM per euro when you do not need the X3D cache. Same starting price, different priorities.
