General Purpose balances price and resources. Ryzen 9 focuses on CPU performance. RAM-Optimized gives you more memory per vCPU. All three ranges are available in Frankfurt, Germany.
Are vCPU, RAM and storage shared?
The vCPU are shared with other virtual machines on the host. A vCPU count does not mean exclusive physical cores. RAM and storage are allocated to your VM. Ryzen uses high-priority shared vCPU; General Purpose does not guarantee a particular CPU model.
Can I upgrade my VPS later?
Contact support to arrange an upgrade and confirm capacity, price and any required restart. Additional CPU, disk and IPv4 options are available at checkout. A move between product families may require migration, so confirm the steps before changing ranges.
What DDoS protection is included?
All listed plans include DDoS protection with configurable filtering. The settings should match your application and its protocols. Ask support about your traffic profile if you need help choosing the right filters.
Can I install Windows?
The 1 GB and 2 GB entry plans are Linux only. General Purpose and Ryzen plans from 4 GB include Windows choices. RAM-Optimized currently lists Linux templates at checkout; contact support about a custom Windows installation. You need your own valid Windows licence.
How do annual billing and renewals work?
ANNUALDISCOUNT takes 30% off the first annual term for the plans shown here, across all three families. The monthly equivalent is rounded for comparison; the displayed first-year total is charged upfront. Renewal is at the yearly list price shown beside each plan. Optional extras can change the checkout total.
How can I check latency from Frankfurt?
Use our Frankfurt looking glass to inspect the route to your destination. Test the actual server address you need to reach. Latency varies with the route and network conditions, so there is no single figure that applies to every connection.
